Trinity Church is a parish church in New York City, which was opened in 1839. Many important people, such as who helped develop the United States and the American Revolution are buried at Trinity Church, most notably Angelica Schuyler and Alexander Hamilton, who were good friends in their lifetimes. Modern Trinity Church is based on the original building constructed in 1698. It was destroyed and rebuilt twice in its lifetime, leading up to its modern existence today, where it is still an active and engaged church.
