The Schuyler Mansion was the residence of the members of the Schuyler family and still exists today: it is located on 32 Catherine Street in Albany, New York. It is the prime residence of former U.S. senator and War General Philip Schuyler when he constructed it in 1761. It is the family home of he and his wife, the Schuyler sisters, and on the same property the home of Alexander Hamilton before he moved to New York City.
