The Hamilton financial plan, formally referred to as the Hamiltonian economic program, was a financial plan written and established by the former Secretary of the U.S. Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. The plan was installed into the national economical system by Congress during George Washington's presidency.

Basic principlesEdit

The plan suggested that the government encourage product manufacturing companies to do their business in the respective industry. The plan also established the first National Bank.
