Weehawken, New Jersey, U.S. is a city of the United States that was founded on March 15, 1859. It takes a major role in the history of the U.S. and the American Revolution.
History[]
The territory was once two townships named Hoboken and North Bergen. Upon the New Jersey Legislature, portions of both were dedicated to the founding of Weehawken.
