Lexi Lawson is an American actress and singer. She made her Broadway debut when she assumed the role of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton from Phillipa Soo on July 9, 2016. She remained in the role until October 28, 2018.

- Lawson worked with Lin-Manuel Miranda on his musical In the Heights, portraying the lead female role of Vanessa on the first national tour.
- Lawson made her Broadway debut when she was announced as replacing Phillipa Soo in the role of Eliza Hamilton in Hamilton. Her first performance took place on July 9, 2016.
- In September 2016, she performed her first Ham4Ham. She, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Jasmine Cephas-Jones perform Out Tonight from Rent.
- In December 2016 she attended the unveiling of the restored bust of Alexander Hamilton at the Museum of the City of New York alongside fellow cast member Anthony Lee Medina.
- In April 2018, she featured in First Burn, the fourth song for Hamildrops. The song featured multiple Elizas singing the first draft of Burn.
