The Chicago production of Hamilton (also known as the Eliza Company) was a separate production of the musical which played in Chicago at The PrivateBank Theater (now named the CIBC Theater). The official cast members to take to stage at Chicago are listed at Chicago Cast (2016).


Ticket sales began on June 21, 2016; the onstage show began on September 27, 2016. The show will function the same as Hamilton on Broadway, with no cut songs or characters. Originally, It was scheduled to run for 17 weeks, ending on March 19, 2017. A new block of tickets is currently on sale for performances from September 19, 2017 through January 7, 2018. (Hamilton Broadway, 2017). Hamilton Chicago closed on January 5, 2020 after 1,341 performances.
